At least two PKK terrorists were "neutralized" in the eastern province of Ağrı on July 21, according to the Turkish Defense Ministry.

Turkey launched counter-terror Operation Claw-2 in northern Iraq on July 12 at 10 pm (local time), the Turkish National Defense Ministry said on July 13.
Turkey will continue to destroy weapon emplacements and shelters used by PKK terrorists in a new area with Operation Claw-2, said the ministry in a statement.

Turkey's envoy to the United States conveyed his concerns to The Washington Post on July 11 after it published an opinion piece by a leader of the PKK terrorist organization.

In a phone call, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşogğu and U.N. Secretary General Antonio Guterres discussed the U.N.'s signing of "an action plan" with the PKK/YPG, listed as terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and the EU, diplomatic sources said on July 5. YPG is the Syrian offshoot of the illegal PKK.

Turkey has lodged protests with U.N.'s Geneva office for signing a deal with PKK terror group and Switzerland for giving entry to the terrorists, officials said on July 4.           

Turkey's top diplomat lambasted on July 4 the U.S.-based Washington Post newspaper for publishing an article by Cemil Bayık, one of the leaders of the PKK, which is listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and the EU. 

Tens of thousands of civilians are being held in "appalling and inhumane" conditions in Syrian camps of the YPG- the Syrian offshoot of the outlawed PKK- leading to the preventable death of 240 children, said a U.N. official on June 2. PKK is listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and the EU.

Turkey on July 2 strongly condemned the United Nation's "Action Plan" with the SDF, an umbrella organization manned mostly by terrorists from the YPG, the Syrian branch of the outlawed PKK.

Jailed outlawed PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan's call for the Peoples' Democratic Party's (HDP) voters to remain "neutral" in the upcoming Istanbul re-election shows a rivalry between Selahattin Demirtaş, the party's jailed former co-chair, and Öcalan, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has said.
