Two ferries with more than 670 refugees to reach Piraeus
Two ferries are expected to dock at Piraeus port on Wednseday carrying more than 670 refugees and immigrants from Greek islands.
More specifically, “Ariadni” ferry arrived with 50 persons from Chios and 479 from Mytilene, while “Blue Star 2″ is expected to arrive to the port later in the day carrying 144 refugees and migrants from Dodecanese islands (74 from Rhodes and 70 from Kos).

Passenger flow at Athens airport hits a new record in February
Passenger traffic in the Athens International Airport set a new records in February, reaching 1.07 million, up 18.2% compared with the same month last year.
Domestic passenger traffic went up 26.6%, while international passenger traffic rose 12.8%, with Greek passengers recording an increase of 17% and foreign passengers 21%.

Thousands of migrants and refugees reach Lesvos
Refugees flock to the Greek island of Lesvos with authorities saying that more than 6,000 people have been registered and identified during the last three days, while Greek Coast Guard and Frontex continue to rescue people who are trying to reach Greece.

Greeks shocked by the tragic death of Pantelis Pantelidis (pics+vid)
The announcement of the death of popular singer Pantelis Pantelidis left everyone shocked.
Pantelidis died in a car crash early on Thursday when he lost control of the car he was driving and crashed against the road barriers. Two women were also on the car and are still hospitalized, one in very serious condition.
Dock workers protest against ports privatization
Greek dock workers have started a two-day strike protesting against the privatization of country’s biggest ports.
About 300 dock workers gathered at the center of Athens and marched towards the Greek Parliament expressing their opposition to government’s plans.
