Parliament adopts law on financing agricultural production
BELGRADE - The Serbian parliament has adopted the law on financing agricultural production, which allows the establishment of pre-harvest financing and introduces the use of future crops as a form of loan security.
The law was adopted on Tuesday and will enter into force on March 1 next year.

Bulgaria's Tomato Growers Plan Protests
The tomato producers in Bulgaria plan large scale protests as they fear they will be unable to sell their produce.
According to the national channel bTV, the producers in Petrich, one of the major tomato growing regions, are planning to throw their tomatoes on the road, because of the cheap imports from abroad.
