U.S. airlines are bracing customers for what will probably be another bumpy holiday weekend as the industry struggles to manage a surge in travel demand that probably exceeds its current capacity.

THY targets double-digit growth this year, says executive

Turkish Airlines (THY) aims to achieve double-digit growth rates this year and in 2023, the chairman of the company's board and the executive committee has said.

"We are working hard to meet strong demand for domestic and international flights," Ahmet Bolat told reporters on a flight that marked the launch of the flag carrier's flights to Seattle.

Istanbul Airport second busiest in Europe
