PM Vucic: Belgrade a place where East, West meet

BELGRADE - Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic opened the Fourth Economic Forum of China and 16 Central and Eastern European nations in Belgrade on Tuesday afternoon.

Journalists satisfied with organization of Belgrade Meeting

BELGRADE - Around 1,100 journalists from 110 local and foreign media houses have been given accreditation to report from the summit of leaders from central and eastern Europe and China and the accompanying Economic Forum, and those of them who spoke with Tanjug said they were satisfied with the way the events were organized.

Latvia will support Serbia on its EU path

BELGRADE - Latvia's Prime Minister Laimdota Straujuma said that Latvia will support the beginning of Serbian EU accession process during her country's EU presidency.

In her statement to Tanjug, Straujuma congratulated Serbia on the excellent organization of the Meeting of Heads of Government of China and Central and Eastern European Countries.

Bevanda on regional projects and cooperation with China

BELGRADE - The countries of the region should be more united to be of interest to investors from China and other countries and to use the EUR 10 billion that China plans to set aside for investment in the countries of the eastern and central Europe the best they can, Chairman of the Bosnia-Herzegovina (BiH) Council of Ministers Vjekoslav Bevanda said in Belgrade Tuesday.
