"EU mission in Kosovo working according to law"

PRIŠTINA -- EULEX chief Gabriele Meucci says that the anti-corruption efforts of the EU mission in Kosovo are being conducted according to the law.

He declined to comment on potential investigations against EULEX prosecutors suspected of corruption.

PRIŠTINA -- Italy's Gabriele Meucci has been appointed as the new head of the EU mission in Kosovo, EULEX, it was announced on Friday.

Meucci will take over the duty from Bernd Borhart on October 15 and his mandate will last until June 14, 2015.

Meucci will take over the duty from Bernd Borhart on October 15 and his mandate will last until June 14, 2015. The decision on his appointment was adopted by the EU Political and Security Committee.

Borhart held office as the EULEX chief since February 1, 2013.
