World’s biggest planes meet at Istanbul Airport
Istanbul Airport has witnessed a historical moment while hosting the world's two biggest planes, an airliner and a cargo plane, at the same time on Oct. 5.
"World's biggest cargo plane named 'Mriya' and world's biggest airliner, an Airbus A380 type jumbo jet, could be screened at the same photo-shoot in a rare event," airport officials said.

Cargo plane en route to Istanbul crashes in Ukraine

Russia to donate two military transport planes to Serbia
In addition to six MiG-29 fighters delivered recently, Russia should soon donate two transport planes to the Serbian Army, Sputnik reported on Wednesday.
Sputnik said that the two Antonov An-26 aircraft could arrive in Serbia in the next ten months.

Two disassembled MiG-29 fighters that Russia has donated to Serbia arrived to the country late on Monday aboard a Russian Antonov An-124 transport plane.
Another two were transported on Tuesday afternoon, while the plan is for all six warplanes to be transported to Serbia in this way by Friday, October 6.

EU Imposes Sanctions on Russian Officials, Singer Iosif Kobzon
The European Union has futher expanded the list of sanctions on Russian officials and citizens over the Ukraine crisis.
