Archaeologists discover 8600-year-old bread at Çatalhöyük
Archaeologists have discovered nearly 8,600-year-old bread in the Çatalhöyük Neolithic settlement, one of the first places of urban settlement in the world in central Anatolian province of Konya. The site was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2012.

Turkish baker supports French hospital by baking bread
A Turkish-origin baker and his family bake bread and take them to health personnel in the French city of Mulhouse to contribute to the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
The family appealed to Emile Muller Hospital in the city to help its personnel, and the request was accepted, the baker, Faruk Beyaz, said.

Ancient Crafts Revived in a Village of Southwest Bulgaria
A centre of ancient crafts is to be created in the village of Razhdavitsa near the southwestern city of Kjustendil. Members of "Roden Kraj" local patriotic association have reconstructed a 100-year bakery. Whoever wants may come to the bakery to try and make different types of bread using old Bulgarian recipes.
