Historic chapel opened to worship in Didim

A 300-year-old chapel located near the famous Apollon Temple in the western province of Ayd?n's Didim district has been opened to worship. 

The chapel was closed for restoration by the municipality three years ago. 

Visitors, mostly Brits, will be offered arts and culture events as well in the chapel, announced officials. 

Good transportation to Turkey's eastern regions drops sharply amid security concerns

Around 5,000 trucks could not find a job due to the escalating violence in Turkey?s east due to clashes between the outlawed PKK and Turkish security forces, with the growing possibility of furloughing drivers, according to Turkish Transporters? At least 12 people have been wounded after a truck rammed into a public bus and a taxi on Ankara's Eski?ehir Boulevard. 

A truck carrying excavation soil crashed into the bus before hitting a taxi in the Turkish capital on the afternoon of Oct. 4.

According to initial reports, at least 12 people were wounded in the accident.

Istanbul to host Pink Martini again

Pink Martini will once again be on the Istanbul stage on Oct. 18 at Volkswagen Arena as part of the group's European Tour.
