If Third Mandate Handed to Patriotic Front, Govt Might Be Formed
Given a decision on the part of Bulgaria's President Rosen Plevneliev to hand over the third mandate for the forming of a government within the framework of the 43rd Parliament to the Patriotic Front, the mandate might not be returned immediately, but an attempt might be made to form a government, reported Denvnik daily.
Bulgaria's Parliament to Vote on Govt Resignation
Bulgarian lawmakers are due to convene on Tuesday with the cabinet's resignation being a major item on their agenda.
The government stepped down earlier this week, following the presidential election results which determined socialist opposition-backed Rumen Radev as Bulgaria's next President-elect.

Bulgaria's CEC Announces Final Election Results
The Central Election Commission has announced the final results of the presidential elections.
The data shows that 2,063,032 or 59.37% of the voters voted for the tandem Rumen Radev - Iliyana Yotova.
The candidate presidential tandem Tsetska Tsacheva - Plamen Manushev received 1,256,485 or 36.16% of the votes.

Bulgarian PM to Resign After Presidential Election Defeat
Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov has said he will step down after the candidate his party backed in the presidential elections, speaker of parliament Tsetska Tsacheva, got only 35 per cent in Sunday's run-off vote.
According to local media, Borissov also called for an early parliamentary election after the centre-right Tsacheva's defeat.

Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov has said he will step down next week, just after his candidate Tsetska Tsacheva emerged as a loser of the presidential election's runoff.
He has also urged an early election, warning the next government would be made by the socialist opposition party BSP and ethnic Turk-dominared DPS if his mandate is handed over to the socialists.

Two pollsters are indicating Radev is leading by a wide margin in the runoff vote held on Sunday.
Sunday's result, if confirmed, would constitute the first ever election loss of Prime Minister Boyko Borisov since the party was set up in the mid-2000s.
