Financial position of households keeps improving
Ljubljana – The financial position of Slovenian households continues to improve as their assets had increased more than debt until the end of the third quarter of 2020. The surplus of assets over debt stood at EUR 45.2 billion, a rise by EUR 3.9 billion at the annual level, the central bank’s report shows.

Decision to reopen retail comes with strict warning
Development Minister Adonis Georgiadis on Friday announced the resumption of retail trade as of Monday, while warning that non-observance of the safety protocols will lead to a new closure of stores.
Retail businesses, hairdressers, beauty salons, dietitians and roadworthiness testing centers (KTEO) are set to open their doors, with optional hours between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m.
Adria Mobil’s sales down slightly in last business year
Ljubljana – Adria Mobil, a leading European caravan maker, was on its way to achieve one of the best results in history at the beginning of the 2019/2020 business year but this did not materialise due to the coronavirus epidemic. Nevertheless, the company still sold 14,454 products on the European markets and generated EUR 401 million in revenue.

The benchmark of the Greek stock market ended the week at its lowest level since Christmas, with traders remaining reserved about the course of the economy as the pandemic continues to break one record after another internationally.

ATHEX: Index cedes more than 1%
Just like in Tuesday's session, stocks started with gains at Athinon Avenue on Thursday but eventually had to settle for losses. Despite the positive start on Wall Street, the closing auctions at the same time in Athens took the main index lower, beyond -1%, on increased turnover.

ATHEX: Stocks break three-day losing streak
After heading south in the previous three sessions, Greek stocks in Athens reversed course on Wednesday, with most ending up in the black and the benchmark reclaiming the 800-point level it had lost on Tuesday. The expected reopening of the retail market is seen as a catalyst for some short-term gains in the coming days.

ATHEX: Early gains give way to late losses

The European Union's target to have secured enough vaccinations against the novel coronavirus to inoculate every citizen in the bloc by the end of 2021 is within reach, Commissioner for Health and Food Safety Stella Kyriakides told Kathimerini in Brussels on Monday.
ATHEX: Benchmark narrowly stays above 800 points
The benchmark of the Greek stock market narrowly managed to avoid dropping below the 800-point mark on Monday as investors indulged in profit taking following the recent gains enjoyed by most stocks. All but two blue chips suffered losses, led by banks, in line with most other European markets.
