Lidl to open 20 retail outlets in Serbia in 2016, 2017
German retailer Lidl will build another 20 retail outlets in Serbia in 2016 and 2017.
The company's representatives announced this during a meeting with Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic in Belgrade on Wednesday.
Austria expects Balkan countries to close borders
Austrian Foreign Minister Sebastian Kurz expects that after his country closes its borders to refugees the Balkans countries will do the same.
After meeting with Albanian Foreign Minister Ditmir Bushati in Tirana, with Albania as the fourth country on his Balkan tour that began on Sunday night, Kurz said it was "theoretically possible that the refugee route would be diverted."

Serbia to follow suit if migrant route states close borders
If some countries on the Balkan migrant route close their borders, Serbia will have to make "a similar decision," Ivica Dacic said on Tuesday.
"Those people will not be able to be stationed here," the foreign minister was quoted as saying after meeting with his Austrian counterpart Sebastian Kurz in Belgrade.
Serbian PM, Austrian FM present "action plan for 2016"
Austrian Foreign Minister Sebastian Kurz and Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic have presented the cooperation action plan for 2016.
It provides for the Austrian government supporting Serbia in opening more chapters on its way to the EU and cooperative efforts in tackling the refugee crisis.
PM to meet with NATO's Breedlove, FM cancels
The meeting between Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic and NATO's allied commander in Europe Philip Breedlove, scheduled for Friday, has been canceled.
Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic will meet with Breedlove, the government's media office announced today.

Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic spoke in London on Thursday with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
They met on the sidelines of the Syria donor conference.

"Serbia relying on Germany's support on EU path"
Serbia is relying on Germany's support on its European path, Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said on Tuesday.
He made the comment while meeting with the political director of the German Federal Foreign Office, Andreas Michaelis, in Belgrade.

Serbian, Albanian, Italian FMs hold trilateral meeting
Ivica Dacic says trilateral meetings of the foreign ministers of Serbia, Italy and Albania should continue "as they are good for regional stability."
The Serbian foreign minister also stressed on Wednesday that "more effort should be made to have joint projects fully implemented."
Serbian FM meets with Albanian counterpart in Tirana
Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic met on Wednesday in Tirana with Albanian Foreign Minister Ditmir Bushati.
They spoke before the second trilateral meeting of foreign ministers of Serbia, Italy, and Albania.
PM meets with Rogozin, says Serbia "won't be easy target"
Aleksandar Vucic said in Belgrade on Monday that Serbia "will not be an easy target for anyone" and is working to strengthen its military capacities.
The Serbian prime minister was addressing a joint news conference with Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin when he said their meeting earlier in the day focused on military-technical cooperation.
