COVID-19 in Bulgaria: 25 New Cases in the Last 24 hours
The number of registered new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours is 25, shows the data published in the Unified Information Portal. They were detected using 1,428 tests, which means that the proportion of positive tests is 1.75%.
No deaths were recorded, the death toll remained unchanged at 38,436.
COVID-19 in Bulgaria: 29 New Cases in the Last 24 hours
Twenty-nine new cases of COVID-19 were registered in the last 24 hours in Bulgaria, one person died, according to data from the Unified Information Portal.
The new cases were detected after 1,388 tests (2 percent were positive). Over 79 percent of the newly infected have not been vaccinated against COVID-19.
The deceased was also not vaccinated.

Pandemic situation appears to be stable, says expert
The pandemic situation in Turkey appears to have stabilized, an expert has said, however, warning that the Omicron variant of COVID-19 still poses risks, particularly to the unvaccinated.
The recent increase in coronavirus cases Turkey has witnessed is due to this strain, said Afşin Kayıpmaz from the Health Ministry's Science Board.

Three largest cities see rise in weekly cases
Turkey's three most populous cities, Istanbul, Ankara and İzmir, have seen increases in the weekly COVID-19 cases at varying rates.
The incidence rate, measuring the number of coronavirus infections per 100,000 people, rose slightly to around 895 in Istanbul, which is home to nearly 16 million residents, in the week of Jan. 29-Feb. 4 from 890 between Jan. 22 and Jan. 28.
