COVID-19 vaccination in Indonesia

With the administration of more than 5.3 million doses of COVID-19 jabs over the past week alone, a little over 25 percent of Turkey's population is now fully inoculated.

Turkey is one of the leading countries in vaccination efforts against the coronavirus, the World Health Organization (WHO) representative to Turkey has said.

In the last 24 hours, 23,750 doses of vaccine against SARS-CoV-2 were administered, of which 16,500 - Pfizer, 5,252 - Johnson & Johnson, 1,160 - Moderna and 838 - AstraZeneca, according to a report sent by the National Committee Coordinating COVID-19 Vaccination Activities (CNCAV).

Representatives of show biz, religious leaders and other authorities will provide the Roma population with reliable information in order to persuade people to be vaccinated against COVID-19.

This was announced by Deputy Minister of Health Alexander Zlatanov after a meeting with health mediators - the link between the authorities and the Roma community.

In the last 24 hours, 20,040 doses of vaccine against SARS-CoV-2 were administered, of which 16,283 - Pfizer, 2,332 - Johnson & Johnson, 662 - Moderna and 763 - AstraZeneca, according to a report sent by the National Committee Coordinating COVID-19 Vaccination Activities (CNCAV).

Three patients died from this disease.
There are 21 patients on respirators, and a total of 341 patients with COVID-19 are on hospital treatment.
In the last 24 hours, 7.992 people were tested.
By the way, a total of 5.131.162 doses of coronavirus vaccines are administered in Serbia. Both doses were received by 2.445.946 citizens, or 41 percent of the population.

Romania's National COVID-19 Vaccination Coordination Committee (CNCAV) has reported that in the last 24 hours, 20,345 doses of vaccine were administered, of which 16,680 doses of the Pfizer vaccine, 766 of the Moderna vaccine, 571 of the AstraZeneca vaccine and 2,328 of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

Turkey has lowered the COVID-19 vaccination eligibility age to 30, the health minister announced on June 19.

"The age limit for vaccine appointments has been reduced to 30. People over 30 years old can make an appointment as of tomorrow," Fahrettin Koca wrote on Twitter.

Romania's National COVID-19 Vaccination Coordination Committee (CNCAV) has reported that in the last 24 hours, 32,077 doses of vaccine were administered, of which 22,051 doses of the Pfizer vaccine, 1,654 of the Moderna vaccine, 1,173 of the AstraZeneca vaccine and 7,199 of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, according to data provided on Wednesday by the National Public Health Institute (INSP)

Turkey has accelerated its vaccination drive against COVID-19 in terms of both the scope of the jab program and the speed of inoculations while the number of injections administered exceeded 33 million doses.

Yesterday, the vaccine eligibility rate was further lowered to cover those aged 40 and above.
