Greece's supreme court on Tuesday examined the rejection of a furlough request by a hunger-striking extremist serving multiple life sentences for the killing of 11 people by Greece's deadliest militant organization.
‘Man of La Mancha’ by IDOB
The Istanbul State Opera and Ballet (IDOB) will make the premiere of its musical 'Man of La Mancha' on May 24 at the Zorlu PSM. Composed by Mitch Leigh, the musical was first performed in Broadway in 1965. It will also be on the Turkish stage on May 25, 28, 29 and 30.

Attacker Detained after Stabbing a 16-year-old in Sofia
Police have detained the perpetrator of last night's assault, where a 16-year-old boy was stabbed with a knife, NOVA said. The incident was about 21:30 near the former Pliska Hotel in Sofia.
The injured youth was taken to Pirogov with two wounds after the attack. The reasons for the incident are made clear.

Cannes 2019: All the Swallows of the World
The 72nd Cannes Festival opened this week with a disappointing 'Zombie' picture, "The Dead Don't Die" of the American indie director, Jim Jarmusch. Despite some of its laughable scenes, the pic added nothing new to the "genre," which is mostly used as a metaphor to criticize the consumer society of today.

Top prosecutor intervenes after council rejects request by N17 terrorist Koufodinas

Disney Announced Plans For Three More Star Wars Movies
Disney Film Company has announced plans for at least three more Star Wars movies, NOVA TV reports.
The first one will be ready in 2022, and the rest will follow in two years. So between the last Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, there will be a pause of 3 years before the next one appears.
Disney bought the "Star Wars" rights from George Lucas in 2012 for $ 4 billion.
