Roglič injured in nasty fall at La Vuelta
Seville – The Slovenian three-time defending champion Primož Roglič had a nasty fall in the final meters of the 16th stage of La Vuelta on Tuesday. Remounting his bike, he crossed the finish line covered in blood and bruises.

Primož Roglič takes the lead in La Vuelta
San Sebastian – Slovenian cycling star Primož Roglič has taken the lead in La Vuelta after winning the 152-kilometre stage four on Tuesday on the last climb.
Having led the peloton in the last twenty kilometres, the Jumbo Visma rider secured the win with a dash up the Laguardia that left his closest competitors in the dust.

Roglič confirmed for La Vuelta
Ljubljana – Slovenian cycling star Primož Roglič will compete at La Vuelta, his team Jumbo Visma confirmed on Monday after the news was first broken by the Dutch news portal WielerFlits.
The three-time La Vuelta winner had sustained serious injuries in a crash at the Tour de France and it was uncertain whether he will be ready for the Spanish race.

Regional newspaper Le Progres groaned over the long wait for a home Tour de France stage winner this weekend with the scathing headline "Blue, Blanc, Lose," a play on the French tri-color using lose instead of Rouge.

Pogačar takes his second Tour of Slovenia
Every day on 2022 Tour of Slovenia was spectacular, same is true also for the last stage. Slovenians Tadej Pogačar (UAE Team Emirates) & Matej Mohorič (Bahrain-Victorious) went head-to-head for a stage victory, Tadej was faster and he took his second stage on the Slovenian tour. He’s also the overall winner.

Majka & Pogačar join forces for another team triumph
Tadej Pogačar will take the green jersey to Novo mesto, but the victory on the queen mountain stage goes to Rafal Majka (both UAE Team Emirates). Domen Novak (Bahrain-Victorious) crossed the finish line in 11th and is still third overall. Fourth stage of Tour of Slovenia was amazing also thanks to fantastic fans!
Rafal Majka surprising winner of stage 1
Rafal Majka (UAE Team Emirates) won first stage of Tour of Slovenia, almost 165 km long race from Nova Gorica to Postojna. Majka already won Slovenian tour back in 2017 and is always a contender for top places, so the victory is not a surprise, the surprise is a victory on the stage that should be won by a sprinter.

Pogačar caps season with Lombardy win
Bergamo – Slovenian star cyclist Tadej Pogačar wrapped up the season in style by winning the last big race, Il Lombardia, on Saturday.
Trumping an all-star line-up, Pogačar finished the race ahead of the Italian Fausto Masnada and the Brit Adam Yates. The Slovenian Primož Roglič was fourth.

Cyclist Eduard Novak wins silver at Tokyo 2020 Paralympics
Romanian cyclist Eduard Novak, the current Minister of Youth and Sports, won the Paralympic silver medal in the men's C4 4000 m individual pursuit on Friday, at the Izu Velodrome in Tokyo. Despite a better start, Novak was defeated in the gold-medal race by Slovakia's Jozef Metelka.
Roglič wins Olympic gold in time trial
Tokyo – Rider Primož Roglič has outclassed the competition by more than a minute in the men’s Olympic time trial on Wednesday to win the second gold for Slovenia in Tokyo and the second medal for Slovenian cycling at the ongoing Games.
