BELGRADE - Data of the Institute for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology in Sarajevo and the Institute for Forensic Medicine in Banja Luka show that there is a large number of cases in which DNA analysis of samples confirmed men's doubts about paternity, writes Serbian daily "Kurir".
Alleged accomplice of N17 terrorist Xiros arrested
Authorities on Saturday arrested yet another alleged accomplice of convicted "Nov17? terrorist Christodoulos Xiros in the greater Athens district of Galatsi.
A DNA sample of the suspect has reportedly been traced to genetic material found on a booby-trapped parcel mailed to a police precinct in the town of Itea, a tax bureau in western Athens and to a prosecutor.

DNA tests on Amphipolis tomb remains pose major challenge
As speculation mounts following the discovery of human remains at a huge ancient tomb at Amphipolis, northern Greece, Culture Ministrys general secretary Lina Mendoni revealed on Monday that it could take more than eight months for experts to complete DNA tests that will yield clues about the individuals identity.
Turkey to build DNA databank for unknown bodies
Turkeyâs Justice and Interior Ministries have joined forces to build a DNA databank to keep track of unidentified dead bodies. The implementation will ease tracking missing persons and help their relatives avoid visiting morgues in each case of a body being found.
