COVID-19 vaccination campaign/ 25.599 people immunized in last 24 hours; 11,224 - with first dose
In the last 24 hours there were 25,599 vaccine doses administered, of which 17,621 - Pfizer, 6,153 - Johnson&Johnson, 1158 - Moderna and 667 - AstraZeneca, according to a briefing sent by Romania's National COVID-19 Vaccination Coordination Committee (CNCAV). CNCAV shows that during the same interval, 11,224 people were vaccinated with the first dose and 14,375 with the second dose.
Kyustendil Police Seized 16 kg of Heroin in Private House
Sixteen kilos of heroin were seized from a house in the village of Konyavo, near Kyustendil, in a raid in the late afternoon on Friday by the local police and the local unit for organized crime control, Kyustendil Police Spokesperson Katya Tabachka said on Saturday.
The heroin was divided in 29 packets.
1 ton of cocaine seized at Mersin Port
Custom enforcement officers have seized 1 ton of cocaine at the Mersin Port in southern Turkey.
This is the largest amount of cocaine ever seized in the country, Trade Minister Mehmet Muş said on Twitter, congratulating the General Directorate of Customs Protection units for the "successful operation."

Romania reports 16,411 adverse events following immunisation in over 4.5 million vaccinated persons
Chairman of Romania's National COVID-19 Vaccination Coordination Committee (CNCAV) Valeriu Gheorghita said on Tuesday that as of June 14, 16,411 adverse events following immunisation (AEFI) were reported, which means an AEFI reporting rate of about 1.9 per 1,000 doses administered in more than 4.5 million vaccinated people, of which over 4.2 million fully vaccinated.
New batch of Vaxzevria COVID-19 vaccine expected in Romania on June 15
A new batch of 167,200 doses of the Vaxzevria COVID-19 vaccine made by AstraZeneca will arrive in Romania on June 15 at the Cantacuzino National Institute for Military Medicine Research and Development, according to the National COVID-19 Vaccination Coordinating Committee (CNCAV). Shipment is provided by the manufacturing company, and the vaccine doses will be brought to Bucharest by land.
Turkey set to administer daily record number of vaccines
A record number of 750,000 people in Turkey have made appointments for June 14 to receive a shot of the COVID-19 vaccine as nearly 25 percent of the country's population have already been given their first dose of the coronavirus jab.

The General Directorate Combating Organized Crime and Bulgaria's Prosecutor's Office have seized a large quantity of heroin, this country's Prosecutor General Ivan Geshev announced on Twitter. Bulgaria Will Donate Covid-19 Vaccines to Western Balkan Neighbors
