A magnitude 6 earthquake shook an area east of the Japanese Fukushima Prefecture, where the Fukushima Power Plant is located, reports Actualno.

According to data from the National Meteorological Administration, the epicenter was in the Pacific Ocean at a depth of 10 km. There is no information about injuries and damages, there is no danger of tsunami waves, reported BGNews.

An earthquake of magnitude 5.8 in the Atlantic Ocean, reports the US Geological Survey.

The epicenter was north of French Guiana. It was at a depth of 10 kilometers, informs the Bulgarian National Television.

More than 900,000 inhabitants of the Iztapalapa region east of the Mexican capital still have no water after the earthquake of September 19, local authorities said in a statement.

Experts believe that this is not related to the earthquakes that shook the country in recent days.

An magnitude 6.2 earthquake shook southern Mexico on Saturday and was felt in the capital, where seismic alarms sounded, residents ran into the streets and rescuers briefly stopped combing the rubble left by a bigger tremor earlier this week, reported Reuters. 

All of the members of the Greek community of Mexico are safe and unharmed after a 7.1-Richter earthquake rocked the Central American country in the early hours of Wednesday, claiming more than 200 lives.

A strong earthquake has struck central Mexico, killing at least 248 people and toppling dozens of buildings in the capital, Mexico City, reported BBC.

President Enrique Peña Nieto said more than 20 children had died and 30 were missing after a school collapsed.

The 7.1 magnitude quake also caused major damage in neighbouring states.
