Holy Fire touches down in Athens (video)
The Holy Fire arrived at the Athens International Airport at 19.30 and was received with honours of a state leader during a special ceremony. The Holy Fire was lit earlier in Jerusalem where the an official Greek governmental delegation received it and boarded on the Prime Ministerial airplane and flown back to Athens.

120 People Join Blood Donation Caompaign
On Palm Sunday 120 people took part in the blood donation campaign, organized by the Bulgarian Red Cross, according to BNR.
The campaign was also supported by the Bulgarian Orthodox Church. Hospitals in Sofia need more that 100 liters of blood daily and that is why regular blood donation is of great importance, doctors say.

Serbian churches in Croatia attacked again, priests in fear
The statement of the Serbian Orthodox Church said that in the night between March 20 and 21 rioters desecrated the Orthodox Churches and broke into the church of Saint Georgije in Kricke and St. Jovan Krstitelj in Miocic, near Drnis in Croatia.
Church still not satisfied with school religion classes
A dispute between the Church of Greece and the government, which began last September when new teaching material for religion classes was distributed to schools, is continuing to cause problems in the relationship between the institutions.
Croatia: Five Serbian Orthodox churches broken into
Five Orthodox temples in Croatia have been broken into during the past several days, the Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC) announced on Friday.
Money was stolen, but no major material damage has been done, a statement released by the SPC Eparchy (diocese) of Dalmatia said.

Orthodox Christmas Eve marked in Istanbul
The Fener GreekOrthodox Patriarchate in Istanbul has celebrated the birth and baptism of Jesus Christ with a special mass held on Jan. 6.
The celebrations began with a mass held in the Hagia Yorgi Church, adjacent to the patriarchate's garden, led by Patriarch Bartholomew.
