Cost of construction materials in Cyprus rises further

An annual increase of 5.78% was recorded in the price index for construction materials for the period January-June 2023 compared to the same period in 2022, according to data published by the Cyprus Statistical Service (CyStat) on Tuesday.

The price index for construction materials for June 2023 reached 135.28 units (base year 2015=100).

Applications open for ‘Energy Saving at Home’ program

Starting on Monday, the "Energy Saving at Home" program will accept applications through the platform https://exoikonomo2023.gov.gr. The application period will extend until September 15. It is estimated that around 20,000 households will participate in the program, which has a budget of 300 million euros.
