Police Destroys Almost 10 T Of Cannabis Near Petrich
Police has destroyed almost 10 tonnes of cannabis near southern Bulgarian town of Petrich, said the Blagoevgrad directorate of the Interior Ministry.
Acting on tips from informants, police found 532 marijuana plants near the village of Krandzhilnitsa, which weighed more than 7 tonnes. The owner of the land plot is yet unidentified.

Balcony cannabis plants land Thessaloniki man in jail
Police in Thessaloniki arrested a 46-year-old man on Thursday after he was found to be cultivating 26 cannabis plants on the balcony of his apartment in the citys Ano Poli neighborhood.
Officers also seized 608 grams of hashish and a digital scale at the property.
Greek police report 13,247 arrests in July – fewer than 2013
There were a total of 13,247 arrests around the country in July, according to figures made public on Wednesday by the Greek Police (ELAS).
The number is slightly down on the 13,797 arrests made in July 2013.
ELAS said it solved 2,983 cases last month and cracked 41 gangs.
