Man Wanted By Interpol Caught at Sofia Airport
At 8 o'clock today, a 56-year-old Greek citizen has arrived at the airport in Sofia for a flight to Istanbul for Minsk. For the verification and after consultation, the border police identified the passenger as wanted by Interpol for murder, illegal possession and transportation of firearms and explosives.
A procedure for extradition is forthcoming.

The Belgrade Centre for Human Rights and Cevdet Ayaz's former lawyer Ana Trkulja will lodge a complaint against Serbia for ignoring the UN Committee Against Torture request not to send the Kurdish activist and victim of torture to Turkey.

Bulgaria was convicted today in Strasbourg to pay EUR 3600 moral damages and EUR 5260 for legal expenses to Djerin Hadzhieva, who lives in Varna.
The woman was born in 1988 and has dual citizenship - Turkmenistan and Russian. The state provided inhuman treatment because she was left alone to take care of herself in 2002 when she was 14 years old after her parents were arrested.
Extradition request for Turkish terror suspect refused
A three-member appeals court has rejected an extradition request by Turkish authorities for the extradition of a 60-year-old man that had been arrested in Athens, along with eight other fellow Turkish nationals, on terrorism charges shortly before the visit to Greece last December by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Kurd Looks to Croatian Court to Stop Extradition
Croatia's Constitutional Court is considering an appeal about the Turkish Kurdish activist Nurettin Oral, who wishes to avoid extradition from Croatia to Turkey, his lawyer confirmed to BIRN.
Lawyer Sandra Drazic Karalic confirmed that the Constitutional Court had started to work on the case, which it received on January 15.

European Court Quizzes Croatia On Kurd's Extradition
A Croatian NGO, the Centre for Peace Studies, CMS, on Friday said that the European Court of Human Right sent an inquiry to Croatia on Thursday, seeking an explanation on the case of a Turkish Kurd named Nurretin Oral.
