Diplomatic Gaffe: Biden Appeared to Forget Name of Australian Prime minister

Australians squirmed Thursday as US President Joe Biden thanked their prime minister for joining a major new defence alliance - but appeared to forget his name.

Instead of being feted by name for his role in the US-Britain-Australia agreement, Prime Minister Scott Morrison was initially relegated to being "that fellow Down Under".

Presidents of US and Ukraine Will Meet at White House

US President Joe Biden will meet with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky at the White House on Wednesday in a show of solidarity between the two countries, the White House said on Sunday. The meeting is taking place two days later than originally scheduled, as Biden oversees the response to Hurricane Ida and the withdrawal of US forces from Afghanistan, Reuters reported.

China sent a strong protest to the United States

He did that during a telephone conversation with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
"China is strongly protesting the recent publication of a so-called report on the investigation of the origin of the coronavirus compiled by the U.S. intelligence services," Wang Yi said, according to the official website of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
