Albanian Football Fans to Boycott Matches in Protest
The Red and Blacks, the largest group of supporters of the Albanian national football team, has announced a total boycott all the matches played in the country in response to what they call police intimidation and violence.
Albanian Investigative TV Show Shutdown Criticised
The South East Europe Media Organisation, SEEMO said on Monday that the cancellation of the investigative programme was "disturbing" and called for a clarification of the reasons why the show was pulled off the air.

Albania Conducts Mass Testing of Teachers
All teachers in Albania with fewer than 20 years' experience are being tested in order to measure their abilities in the first-ever attempt to work out what professional training is required across the country.
On January 23, around 15,000 teachers all over Albania are going to take the test; around 4,000 more in the Tirana municipality have already taken it in November 2015.

The bus transporting Serbia's national soccer team was stoned in Tirana, Vice President of the Serbian Soccer Association, Savo Milosevic confirmed for Tanjug.
Serbs Invited to 'Risky' Football Match in Albania
A group of 70 Serbian students will support the Serbian football team during the game in Elbasan, which is widely seen as a risky event after a match between the two teams in Belgrade ended in a brawl last year.
The Albanian football association announced on October 1 that the Serbian students had been invited to Elbasan by their Albanian colleagues.

UEFA's disciplinary committee on Oct. 24 awarded Serbia a 3-0 victory in their aborted Euro 2016 qualification match with Albania, but deducted them three points.
Albania's football federation responded by saying they would appeal the decision.
