Slovene centre-left MEP Tanja Fajon has added to the chorus of international voices urging Kosovo to get on with ratifying a controversial border deal with Montenegro.

The EU, the US and Britain will be "directly responsible for the consequences" if they fail to react to the latest statements by Albanian politicians.

Ivica Dacic, Serbia's first deputy PM and foreign minister said this late on Thursday, referring to the statements about "unification of Albania, Kosovo and three municipalities in southern Serbia," Beta reported.

Three men, who came from Kosovo, have been arrested in Venice, Italy.

The daily La Repubblica writes that they are believed to be members of a terrorist group.

Kosovo Foreign Minister Enver Hoxhaj said on Tuesday that Aleksandar Vucic would be allowed to visit Kosovo on Wednesday.

According to Beta, Hoxhaj also said the visit would "last three hours."

The Kosovo government has approved a request from Serbian Prime Minister Aleksadar Vucic to visit Leposavic, a northern municipality with a Serb majority, on Wednesday as he campaigns for the Serbian presidential elections.

According to Beta, Hoxhaj also said the visit would "last three hours."

Ukrainian Ambassador to Serbia Oleksandr Aleksandrovych says the Kosovo government's decision to "nationalize" the property of Serbia in Kosovo is "illegal."

Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said that Serbia will never stop the dialogue with Pristina - but takes a stance against unilateral actions.

US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley has said that Kosovo deserves to be a full-fledged member of the UN.

Kosovo Assembly President Kadri Veseli has published a photo on Twitter of himself in the company of US President Donald Trump.

Veseli accompanied it with the following message:

"I expressed my deep gratitude to President Trump over US support for Kosovo. We're blessed with the alliance between our two peoples."
