Speaking at the 93rd NATO Parliamentary Assembly Rose Roth seminar, which was held in Pristina for the first time, Kosovo Interior Minister Skender Hyseni said his country had sharply cut the number of people going to fight in Syria and Iraq from 300 to just two in the last year.

Turkish companies' interest in Kosovo will increase with an imminent free-trade agreement, Economy Minister Nihat Zeybekci said Oct. 18.
Speaking at the Turkey-Kosovo Business and Investment Forum hosted by the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEİK) in Istanbul, Zeybekci said Kosovo had great importance for Turkey.      
 

Kosovo officials have hailed Tuesday's decision of the Council of Europe to admit Kosovo from January 2017 onwards to sessions of the Parliamentary Assembly, PACE, as a diplomatic triumph and a step towards full membership of the organization.

From January, Kosovo representatives will be taking part in sessions dealing with  EU-Kosovo relations as observers and with no right to vote.
