France Expected to Suspend Fuel-Tax Hike that Led to Violent 'Yellow Jacket' Protests

After more than two weeks of protests that have led to blocked roads, torched cars, looting and chaos in some of Paris' wealthiest neighborhoods, France's prime minister was expected Tuesday to suspend a fuel-tax hike that triggered the demonstrations, reported USA Today. 

Turkish artists at Paris art fair

The Carrousel Artshopping Contemporary Art Fair, which is organized every year in Paris by Louvre Museum, will be held this year on Oct. 19, 20 and 21. The Contemporary Turkish Artists Paris Association (ACT), which was established in 2015 in Paris to represent Turkish artists, will attend the fair again this year with 28 artists. 

Over Half of Global Exports Come from Countries that Fail to Punish Foreign Bribery, Including Bulgaria

Berlin, 12 September 2018 - Most of the world's biggest exporters are failing to punish corporations paying bribes overseas, Transparency International revealed today. 

The anti-corruption organisation has released the 2018 edition of its Exporting Corruption report, rating countries based on their enforcement against foreign bribery under the OECD Anti-Bribery Convention.

Turkish artists in Paris fair

The Carrousel Art Shopping contemporary art fair, organized by Louvre Museum, will take place on May 25, 26 and 27 in Paris. This year nine Turkish artists will participate in the fair, through the organization of the Contemporary Turkish Artists Paris Association (ACT), which was founded by Nazan Aktan in 2015 to promote Turkish artists to the world.
