Bulgarian Churches Ring 'One Million Bells' in Solidarity 100 Days After Hamas Attack in Israel

On the 100th day since the attack by the Islamist group Hamas in Israel, three prominent Bulgarian churches in Sofia join the global initiative "One Million Bells." "Sveta Nedelya" church, along with the churches "Exaltation of the Holy Cross of the Lord" and "Sveti Sedmochiselnitsi," will simultaneously ring their bells in solidarity, supporting the call for the release of Israeli hostages.

Rockets Fired From Gaza Into Southern Israel

Rockets were fired last night from Gaza towards southern Israel.

In response, the Israel Defense Forces said they had destroyed two missile sites in central Gaza.

A tunnel shaft with explosive devices was also destroyed, killing several "terrorists" in Khan Yunis.

Palestinian news agency Wafa reports attacks on Gaza City with 20 killed.

The United States carried out a fresh strike Saturday on a Huthi rebel target in Yemen, U.S. Central Command said, after the Iran-backed militants warned of further attacks on ships in the Red Sea.

The strike on a Huthi radar site comes a day after scores of attacks across the country heightened fears that Israel's war with Hamas could engulf the wider region.

Turkey providing documents for genocide hearings against Israel, says Erdogan

Turkey is providing documents for a case brought by South Africa against Israel at the UN's top court on a charge of committing genocide against Palestinian civilians, President Tayyip Erdogan said on Friday.

Speaking to reporters in Istanbul, Erdogan said that Turkey will continue to provide documents, mostly visuals, on Israel's attacks on Gaza.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has accused U.S. and British forces of seeking to turn the Red Sea into a "bloodbath" following pre-dawn airstrikes on rebel-held Yemen.

The military action early on Jan. 12 was in response to weeks of disruptive attacks on Red Sea shipping by the Iran-backed Houthi rebels, who claim solidarity with Gaza.
