The Brussels Airport was blocked after a fire had broke out

Access to the international airport in the Belgian capital of Brussels was blocked early on Thursday after a fire, Sputnik reported.

"The Brussels Airport was entirely blocked on Thursday starting at 5 a.m." the RTL broadcaster said. "A fire, a blackout and an ensuing computer failure have paralyzed the national airport."

Blvd.'Brussels' to be Closed Until October Due to Renovation

Traffic jam is expected today in Sofia due to the renovation of boulevard Brussels which will continue until October 18, Nova TV reported.

The reason is the construction of a road link between the boulevard to Terminal 2 of Sofia Airport which is expected to improve the traffic substantially.

Sofia Municipality advise citizens to use the subway or the old road to the airport.

Belgian Police Prevent Terrorist Act in Antwerpen

Belgian security forces have prevented a terrorist attack in the country's most populous city Antwerpen, announced Mayor Bart De Wever.

A man who tried to mow down pedestrians with a car in one of the central streets of the city has been arrested. The car was moving at high speed and people attempted to jump aside on the pavements.

A shotgun and several bladed weapons have been found in the car of a man who tried to drive at high speed through a busy shopping street in Antwerp, forcing pedestrians to jump out of the way.
The federal prosecutor’s office said the car was intercepted at the port docks and a Frenchman living in France was arrested.

No statements as latest round of Brussels dialogue ends

BRUSSELS - A Brussels meeting of the Belgrade and the Pristina delegations as part of the top-level dialogue between the two sides ended shortly after 11 pm Wednesday.

The delegations left the EEAS building without making any statements, Tanjug's correspondent reported.
