Gas prices in Serbia to go up from August 1
BELGRADE - Household gas bills in Serbia will be higher by 1.1 to 1.3 percent, or RSD 45.4 per cubic meter on average, starting with August 1, while other consumers will pay 1.1 to 1.4 percent or RSD 42.3 per cubic meter more, VAT excluded, the Council of the Energy Agency of the Republic of Serbia (AERS) said in a release.

Watchdog threatens fuel firms with ceiling
Turkeyâs energy watchdog has reportedly threatened fuel companies with a price ceiling if they do not cut diesel prices by 4 kuruÅ by June 26.
The Energy Market Regulation Board (EPDK) Chairman Mustafa Yılmaz asked fuel distributors to slash market prices of gasoline and diesel fuel during a meeting with company representatives June 24.

Romanian Industry Braces for Rise in Gas Price
Gas prices for industrial consumers in Romania will rise by a thumping 24 per cent as of next month, with a sharp impact likely on industry and jobs, experts say.
The move is part of a deregulation schedule agreed with international lenders including the International Monetary Fund, IMF and the World Bank.
