U.S. State Secretary-Greek FM work together against terrorism (transcript, video)

U.S. State Secretary John Kerry noted his country's awareness of the challenges Greece is going through and referred to the close relations of the United States and Greece. On his part, Kotzias said that he was in the U.S. as a friend to someone who works with Greece for democracy and peace against terrorism.

The embattled director of Greece’s National Theatre spoke to protothema.gr this week over his very public and contentious clash with the new alternate culture minister, charging that the latter continues to demand his resignation in order to appoint someone “close” to the ruling SYRIZA party.

Island airports at full capacity over Easter

Tourist arrivals in Corfu over Easter show a clear rise, especially through chartered or commercial airliners.

 

The reported rise reached 17.6%, with ten extra flights being handled by the Corfu airport over Easter holidays.

 

Mykonos island as well as Chios and Limnos also showed an increase in air traffic, with tourists visiting the islands for holidays.
