Happy Easter! The Greatest Holiday for All Orthodox Christians
We celebrate one of the greatest Christian feast - the Resurrection of Christ. In the Christian religion of Easter, the resurrection of Jesus Christ is celebrated on the third day after being crucified and buried. The empty tomb was seen by the women who were visiting the tomb. Then Jesus appears to Mary Magdalene and to the apostles.
Holy And Great Saturday
In Eastern Orthodoxy this day, known as Holy and Great Saturday, is also called The Great Sabbath since it is on this day that Christ "rested" physically in the tomb. But it is also believed that it was on this day he performed in spirit the Harrowing of Hell and raised up to Paradise, having liberated those who had been held captive.

The Orthodox Church Celebrates the Palm Sunday
Orthodox Christians today celebrate the Palm Sunday. The day is celebrated after Lazar's Day and the last Sunday before Easter.
The church calls the Lord's Inquisition as it reminds us of the solemn entrance of Jesus Christ in Jerusalem on the back of an ass before the Jewish Passover.
