Bulgaria Celebrates Tsvetnitsa also Known as Palm Sunday
Today, the Orthodox Church celebrates the Christian holiday of Tsvetnitsa(Flower's Day). It is traditionally always a week before Easter and is one of the important spring holidays. It is dedicated to the solemn reception of Jesus Christ in Jerusalem with olive and laurel twigs.
Last Friday 13 For 2017
It's Friday 13th, the most cursed day in the calendar - allegedly - where everything is fated to go wrong. However, is the last for 2017. Not only that, but we will soon not meet the fatal combination - until April next year.
2018 will only offer us twice Friday, the 13th - on in April and one in July (when it is summer and there is nothing so bad to happen to us).

It Is Holy Saturday Today
It is Holy Saturday today, the last day of the Holy week before Resurrection Sunday. Holy Saturday, also known as the Easter Eve commemorates the day that Jesus Christ's body lay in the tomb.
On this day the Holy Fire descends from the skies above the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem into the hands of the Patriarch of Jerusalem.

Today is Good Friday
Christians around the world celebrate Good Friday, when, according to belief, Jesus Christ died crucified on the cross. It is a non-working day of strict fasting and contemplation.
"Good Friday is a joyful sorrow. It is not desperation, it is not grief for the late Jesus", said professor Ljubomir Stojanovic from the Faculty of Theology in Belgrade.

Exodus of Athenians culminates for Easter
The exodus of city dwellers for the Easter long weekend holidays is culminating on Good Friday. Athenians are leaving the city through cars, trains, ports and airports, with the volume of traffic on major exit roads being high. Greek traffic police are on alert for the exodus as emergency measures are in effect to facilitate the travellers leaving Athens.

Serbian Orthodox patriarch's Easter message
Christians on Friday marked Good Friday in memory of the day Jesus Christ was crucified on Golgotha, ahead of the religion's greatest holiday - Easter.
Friday was a day of mourning for the believers, who observe a strict fast and traditionally refrain from doing any work in the house or in the fields.

The Laity Pass Under the Shroud of God on Friday
On Holy Friday - the worst day of the Son of God - do not celebrate the mass. In the morning in the temple they exported the holy shroud, which reminds wearing the Christ's body to the grave. In the evening takes place the symbolic burial of Christ.
