Another academic year marked by Covid-19 begins
Ljubljana/Maribor/Koper/Nova Gorica – The beginning of October marks the start of a new academic year, once more impacted by Covid-19, as in-person lectures, seminars and exams being reserved for those meeting the recovered-tested-vaccinated rule. There will be no traditional university welcome for new students either.

Street in N Macedonia to be named after young Slovenian firefighter
Nova Gorica – As news of a tragic death of a young Slovenian firefighter and diver reached North Macedonia, a country where he helped fight wildfires this summer, the mayor of Berovo decided to propose that a street in the town be named after him.
SAHA Studio opens to visitors
SAHA Studio is open to public for an end-of-term exhibition and events premiering new works by artists Yasemin Nur, Onur Gökmen, Ege Kanar, Bengü Karaduman, and Merve Ünsal.
Artists who have been working at SAHA Studio with SAHA's support since January can be visited every day until Oct. 2.
