Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) leader Devlet Bahçeli has asserted that the Turkish Republic, as it approaches its centennial celebration, has undergone significant development.

"By walking in the footsteps of the past, the bright days of today and the future will definitely be achieved," Bahçeli said during his party's parliamentary meeting on Oct. 24.

Ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) spokesperson Ömer Çelik has announced that the party's upcoming congress has been scheduled for Oct. 7.

"Strong evaluations will be conducted on Oct. 7," Çelik remarked.

Devlet Bahçeli, the leader of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), a part of the ruling People's Alliance, has extended an invitation to the İYİ (Good) Party for collaboration in the upcoming year's municipal elections.
