International Mathematical Olympiad

A Turkish team consisting of four girls aged between 12 and 16 has bagged four medals at the 11th European Girls' Mathematical Olympiad (EGMO), held in the city of Eger in Hungary, and became second out of the 31 international teams.

The Romanian girls' mathematics team won one gold medal, two silver medals and one bronze medal at the 8th edition of the European Girls' Mathematical Olympiad (EGMO), which takes place in Kiev, between 7 and 13 April, a release of the National Education Ministry (MEN) sent to AGERPRES on Friday informs.

Romania's mathematics team won six medals (four golden and two silver) in the 25th edition of the Balkan Mathematical Olympiad for seniors, carried out in Belgrade over may 7-12, informs the Ministry of Education in a press release.

CAPE TOWN - Serbian students won one gold, three silver and two bronze medals at the International Mathematical Olympiad in Cape Town, adding to the string of success enjoyed by the Serbian teams in this competition over the years.
