An angry, emotional U.S. President Joe Biden defended his mental competence Thursday in a rare evening address to Americans to respond to biting comments in a report released hours earlier on his mishandling of classified documents.

A Republican Senator for Kentucky, Rand Paul, has submitted a joint resolution opposing the proposed sale of military equipment to Turkey on Monday.

Paul, a member of the Senate's Committee on Foreign Relations, has clashed with President Joe Biden's administration over the sale of 40 F-16s and a variety of other military equipment to Turkey.

They showed that his rival Donald Trump further increased his advantage in the election race.
He had five percent more in a hypothetical general election matchup. Biden is trailing by double digits on the issues that matter most to voters. Trump is ahead by more than 20 percent on the economy. The same applies to the fight against violence.

The International Coordinating Committee - Justice for Cyprus (PSEKA) issued a statement on Tuesday, urging the US Senate and House of Representatives to reject the proposed F-16s sale to Turkey. 

In the attack, three American soldiers were killed and at least 34 wounded, accusing "radical militant groups supported by Iran" of the drone attack.
"Have no doubt - we will hold all those responsible to account at a time and in a manner our choosing," Biden said in a statement.
