Two people died in floods in Istanbul, where torrential rain turned the city's streets into rivers, AFP reported.
The storm flooded a subway station, and dozens of people were evacuated from a city library. Footage on social media shows cars and street stalls being swept away.

With thunderstorms accompanied by heavy rains likely to batter western parts of the Türkiye, raising the possibility of flash floods and landslides, the Turkish State Meteorological Service has issued a "yellow" alert for 10 provinces in Türkiye's west, including Istanbul.
Around 80 tons of bootleg wine seized at vinegar factory
Security forces have seized a total of 77 tons of bootleg wine at a vinegar factory in the Şarköy district of the northwestern province of Tekirdağ.
Teams from the local police force's Organized Crime and Smuggling Department figured that barrels with bootleg wine were being handled at a plant.

Turkey and Bulgaria to Open New Border Gate
Turkey and Bulgaria will open a new border gate, a Turkish governor said on Thursday, reports AA.
"We will open a new border gate in Igneada-Rezovo region," said Osman Bilgin, governor of Turkey's northwestern Kirklareli province.
"After the construction of a highway, we will open [border gate] to trade traffic," Bilgin said, without specifying the date.
