Man, 32, arrested for making threat on social media
A 32-year-old man was arrested in Kilkis, northern Greece, on Saturday over a post he made on a social networking site saying he would kill his migrant neighbors.
He was arrested after a complaint about the post was filed to police.

Man shoots neighbor, mother over parking spot row
A 42-year-old man was in police custody on Friday after allegedly shooting a neighbor, a man also aged 42, and the latter's 67-year-old mother in the small town of Chrysoupoli near Kavala in northern Greece following a dispute over a parking spot.

Red Code for Dangerous Weather in Halkidiki, Thassos and Kavala
In northern Greece, was declared a red code for very dangerous rainfalls in the regions of Central and Eastern Macedonia for the next 24 hours. The regions include the Halkidiki peninsula, the island of Thassos and the region of Kavala, where many Bulgarian citizens are staying.
The warning is about very dangerous rainfall and strong thunderstorms.
Final two hydrocarbon concessions to be signed
The final two of four concessions for hydrocarbon exploration and exploitation in the Ionian Sea are set to be signed on Tuesday by Energy Minister Giorgos Stathakis, the head of Hellenic Hydrocarbon Research Management, Ioannis Basias, and the contractors.

Life in jail sought for Kavala, Alabora
An Istanbul prosecutor has sought life in prison for 16 suspects including philanthropist Osman Kavala and actor Mehmet Ali Alabora on charges of "attempting to overthrow the government," state-run Anadolu Agency has reported.

Union protests hospital violence
Two fresh cases of violence against hospital workers were reported on Tuesday by the national union of hospital workers (POEDIN).
The first incident took place on Monday at the Aghia Sophia Children's Hospital in Thessaloniki, when the father of a young child that had gone for an examination attacked a worker.

Levy to be slapped on investors to operate regional ports
The government is raising obstacles in the process for the concession of 10 regional ports through a Shipping Ministry bill that provides for the introduction of a 5 percent levy on the turnover of the contractor that undertakes each port.
