AGERPRES special correspondent, Catalin Alexandru reports: Romania's President, Klaus Iohannis has visited on Thursday the pavilions of Italy and the Vatican from the Expo Milano 2015, after which he had a short talk with Giuseppe Sala, the Commissioner general of the world exhibition.

Credible measures are needed in support to the economic development of the countries of origin as solution to prevent long-term migration, president Klaus Iohannis said on Thursday, before taking off to the EU extraordinary summit in Brussels summoned in the context of the aggravation of the crisis represented by the North Africa immigrants flow.

President Klaus Iohannis signed on Thursday the decree releasing Tatiana Niculescu Bran from the office of presidential spokesperson and communication advisor, the Presidential Administration informed.

Tatiana Niculescu Bran had announced on Tuesday that she was quitting as spokesperson for the head of the state.

In his report on his first 100 days in office on Tuesday, President Klaus Iohannis said his greatest discontentment was the response of the Parliament to the requests of the Judiciary and the still lengthy procedures for lifting MPs' immunity [for criminal investigations].

The President-elect, Klaus Iohannis calls the Romanians through his Facebook page to search in their own archives, now, at 25 years since they won their right to freedom, and put together "images and testimonies of what the fall of communism and the birth of the Romanian democracy meant."
