Oliver Ivanovic pleads not guilty

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - Leader of the Citizen Initiative Freedom, Democracy, Justice (GI SDP) Oliver Ivanovic has pleaded not guilty before the court of first instance in Kosovska Mitrovica on all counts of the indictment for involvement in war crimes in 1999 and 2000.

"I am absolutely not guilty," he replied to judge Roxana Comsa.

Zvecan: Sokolica 2014 begins

ZVECAN – The 18th edition of the cultural event Sokolica 2014 has began in the town of Zvecan in northern Kosovo-Metohija (KiM).

The event was opened by President of the Zvecan arts and culture center Slavisa Miljkovic on Monday evening. Also present was Zlata Radovanovic, coordinator of the Serbian government’s KiM Office in Zvecan.

First hearing in case against five Serbs to be held Tuesday

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - The first hearing in the case against leader of the Citizens' Initiative “Freedom, Democracy, Justice” (GI SDP) Oliver Ivanovic and four other Serbs suspected of committing war crimes and aggravated murder will be held at the Basic Court in Kosovska Mitrovica on Tuesday, EULEX spokeswoman Dragana Nikolic-Solomon said Monday.

Ivanovic: Government participation is in Serbs' interest

NOVI SAD - Oliver Ivanovic, leader of the Citizens' Initiative 'Freedom, Democracy, Justice“ (SDP) and the most famous prisoner in Kosovo-Metohija (KiM), said Sunday that the participation of KiM Serbs in the new government in Pristina, in full coordination with the Serbian government, could prove a far more efficient way to promote their vital interests.
