BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Monday Greek companies were welcome in Serbia, and called on Greek financial institutions, banks in particular, to renew their interest in the Serbian market.

BELGRADE - Greek PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis said on Monday in Belgrade his government's position on Kosovo-Metohija remained unchanged and that he believed EU facilitation and dialogue were the only path to normalisation of Belgrade-Pristina relations and greater stability in the region.

In his remarks, Mitsotakis emphasized that Greece stands as Serbia's most steadfast ally in its pursuit of EU membership, further stating that Greece's strategic goal is the accession of the Western Balkans. The Greek premier is on a two-day visit to Serbia.

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Monday Serbia and Greece had always supported each other's territorial integrity and that he believed that would be the case in the future, too.

The program of the visit of the Greek delegation foresees a tete-a-tete meeting between Vui and Mitsotakis at 9:30 a.m. in the Palace of "Serbia", which will be followed by plenary talks by the delegations of the two countries, led by Vui and Mitsotakis, announced the Office for Media Relations of the President of Serbia.

Farmers continue their mobilizations ahead of Tuesday's meeting with Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, as state-run broadcaster ERT reported on Sunday. The government reiterated its support measures for farmers and expressed openness to productive dialogue without tensions, despite indicating that fiscal margins for benefits are running out.
