Golden Visa threshold to soar

The government is about to increase the threshold for the Golden Visa program to 800,000 euros in some cases, while maintaining the lower limit of €250,000 euros in areas of less interest and activating financial tools for the utilization of vacant properties.

PM to meet farmers if blockades are lifted; date to be finalized Friday

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis' meeting with farmer representatives will reportedly take place on Monday afternoon or Tuesday morning after his return from Belgrade, provided they lift their roadblocks on the national highway network. The date is expected to be finalized on Friday. 

Security system upgrade at Greece’s Fort Knox completed

Greek President Katerina Sakellaropoulou, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, President of the Parliament Konstantinos Tasoulas and ministers toured the Bank of Greece's vault which was recently upgraded with new security systems, as guests of its governor, Yannis Stournaras. The vault stores 71 of the 151 tons of Greece's gold.
