Netherlands seeking to return migrants to Turkey, Dutch politician says

The Netherlands is working with some EU members on a plan to send migrants back to Turkish soil in exchange for giving asylum to up to 250,000 others already hosted by Turkey, a top Dutch lawmaker has said, drawing criticisms from the European Commission as well as rights groups.

World Bank: Number of Bulgarians in Working Age to Decrease Considerably by 2050

In the next several decades the Bulgarian population will age and decrease and by 2050 the number of people in working age will considerably decrease.

This was revealed by Victoria Levin, economist at the World Bank, who presented a study of the financial institution on the labour market in Bulgaria.

EU Socialists' Leader Stanishev Meeting Jeremy Corbyn Saturday

Sergey Stanishev, head the Party of European Socialists (PES), is to meet with the UK Labour party's leader Jeremy Corbyn over the weekend.

Stanishev is going to London as part of a PES delegation for Labour's Annual Conference taking place between September 27 and 30, Bulgarian newspapers report, citing the PES press office.  

UK Tories Set to Remain in Power After Vote

With more than half of the results of Thursday's UK general election now in, David Cameron's Tories appear set to have won 329 of the 650 seats in the House of Commons, according to a BBC forecast.
