Father in northwestern Turkey kills cancer patient son 'to end his pain'
A man in the northwestern province of Kocaeli, who allegedly shot dead his cancer patient son with the latter's consent, was arrested on March 29.
The incident occurred in the Erenler neighborhood of the ?zmit district, with the man identified only as Salim B. allegedly shooting his 23-year-old son, who was suffering from colon cancer.

German book exhibition in Istanbul
As part of the 52nd Week of Libraries celebration, Goethe-Institut Istanbul will organize an exhibit displaying the "Finest German Books 2015" collection.
According to a written statement made by the institute, the 25-book collection is the result of a long-running contest that is organized in Germany by the Foundation of Book Arts every year.

Japanese man to join ISIL captured in Turkey's southeast
A Japanese man, who was bound to join the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) in Syria, was captured on late March 22 in the Nizip district of the southeastern province of Gaziantep.
Gendarmerie teams captured the man identified as M.M. while searching a suspicious car.
Iranian FM to visit Turkey on March 19
Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif is to make a visit to Turkey on March 19, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a statement on March 18.
Zarif will conduct talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an and Prime Minister Ahmet Davuto?lu after meeting with his Turkish counterpart, Mevlüt Çavu?o?lu, the statement said.

Minister of Economy Zeljko Sertic opened on Thursday the international DDOR BG Car Show and motorcycle show Motopassion.
According to him, the Serbian government secured 10,000 new jobs in the Serbian auto industry in the next two years.
