Don’t miss the Supermoon on November 14 (video-photos)

If you missed some of the amazing astronomical phenomena this year, then you could make up for it in one outing. On November 14, the Moon will come the closest it has been to earth since January 1948. The supermoon, as the phenomenon is called, will see the Moon appear up to 14 percent bigger than an average full moon.

People rushed to take photos of the rare eclipse of the supermoon on September 27. NASA says that total eclipses of super full moons are rare and have only occured 5 times in the 1900s (1910, 1928, 1946, 1964 and 1982). The next Supermoon eclipse is due in another 18 years.
