Mystic Egyptian seal found in Muğla
Excavations in the ancient city of Letoon in the western province of Muğla's Seydikemer district have unearthed a nearly 2,600 year-old Egyptian seal used in the ancient Egyptian dynasty. The seal is said to have importance as it shows commercial relations between the ancient Egyptian and the ancient Lycian civilizations.

British FM Boris Johnson 'secretly' arrives at Turkish resort in Göcek for family vacation
British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson and his family came to Turkey on holiday last week. Johnson, his wife, and his four children secretly landed at the Dalaman airport and arrived at the Turkish resort in Muğla's Göcek via a gulet sailboat.
Johnson and his family visited the bays of Göcek, Dalyan, and Fethiye during the week and took a swim in the various Aegean bays.

Cross of 12th century Byzantine chapel stolen in southern Turkey
The cross of a 12th century Byzantine chapel, located outside the ancient city of Myra in the southern province of Antalya, has reportedly been stolen.
Demre District Governor Murat Uz said an investigation has been opened into the theft, and they believe the 20-centimeter long marble cross was stolen in the last three or four days.

Turkey's Antalya to sink 1960 model tank in tourism drive
A 1960 model tank will be submerged 20 meters below the surface of the water off the coast of the Mediterranean seaside resort of Kaş in Turkey's Antalya province, to serve diving tourism, Doğan News Agency reported on May 20.
The U.S.-made 45-ton tank was previously stored hundreds of kilometers away in the Central Anatolian province of Konya.
