North Macedonia Green-lights Helicopter Donation to Ukraine

North Macedonia's government "has decided to donate helicopters to Ukraine" and has accepted a draft text intended for this purpose, the government in Skopje said in a press release.

The government did not specify how many gunships will be donated, but earlier this week, Defence Minister Slavjanka Petrovska said it might hand over its entire fleet of 12 helicopters.

Russia revokes the Certificates of Two Military Factories in Bulgaria

Russia is terminating the validity of the certificates issued to three aircraft repair enterprises - two in Bulgaria and one in the Czech Republic, the spokeswoman of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova announced at a briefing, quoted by TASS and BGNES.

It is about the Bulgarian "Terem - Letets" and "Avionams", as well as the Czech "Lom Praha".

Bulgaria Awards Contract for Mi-17 and Mi-24 Helicopters Overhaul

The Bulgarian Ministry of Defence (MoD) announced on 26 March the award of the contract for the overhaul and life extension of four Mi-24V attack and two Mi-17 tactical transport helicopters to local military maintenance, repair, and overhaul company TEREM Holding EAD, reports Jane's 360. 

Bulgaria Overhauls Mi-17 and Mi-24 Helicopters

On 30 July, the Bulgarian Ministry of Defence published a tender for the general overhaul of two Mi-17 transport and four Mi-24V combat helicopters of the Bulgarian Air Force (BuAF). The deadline for submission of bids is 3 September, with a framework agreement covering a period of 48 months to be signed with the successful bidder.
