Archaeologists from Varna discovered an ancient object that has an analogue only in the collection of the Louvre. The find was found during the excavations of part of the sanctuary of Ancient Odessos, Elina Mircheva, curator and archaeologist at the Archaeological Museum in Varna, told Radio Varna:

Bulgaria: A Street in a New District of Varna Collapsed

A street in the rebuilt Varna district of the Monument to the Bulgarian-Soviet Friendship (the so-called "Zheraven Vrah") collapsed after an accident on the main water supply to the resorts late last night. The nearby "Vasil Levski" boulevard turned into a river, and the underpass on which the traffic diverges to "Knyaz Boris I" boulevard (the road to Golden Sands) was blocked.

Bulgaria: New Series of Bomb Threats in dozens of Schools in Sofia, Varna and Burgas

A new series of bomb threats have been made to schools in Sofia, Varna and Burgas.

Around 10:05 a.m. this morning, 35 schools in Sofia received the threatening email, which claims that an explosive device has been planted in the school. This was reported to BNT by the head of the regional police - Vanya Kastreva.

Officers from the Main Directorate "Fighting Organized Crime" are working with two partner services on guidelines for a possible person involved in the bomb threats who is outside the territory of Bulgaria.

HC Dobrogea Sud Constanta has won the Romanian Supercup in men's handball, on Wednesday, after defeating CS Dinamo Bucharest with the score of 19-18 (10-10), in the Polyvalent Hall in Alexandria. The team from Constanta has won its second trophy in the Supercup, after their first in 2017, won also over Dinamo and also by a one goal difference, 28-27.

Fire Exchange in Bulgarian Black Sea City of Varna, Several People Killed

Several people were shot in an apartment on the first floor of a block on 105, Macedonia Street in Varna. The area has been cordoned off and a crime scene examination is underway. The police was alerted in the early afternoon after shots were heard from the apartment.
